The following policy serves as a standard for all Security National Corporation employees for collection, use, retention, and security of nonpublic personal information.

What Information We Collect

In the ordinary course of business, we collect, retain and use information about you to serve your financial needs, to administer your account(s) with us and to keep you informed of products and services that may be of interest to you. This information, known as nonpublic personal information, is collected from several sources and includes:

What Information We Disclose

We are permitted under law to share information about your account history and experiences with us (such as your account balance and your payment history) with companies related to us by common control or ownership ("affiliates"). See list above.

We also are permitted under law to disclose nonpublic personal information about you to "nonaffiliated third parties" (i.e., third parties that are not members of our corporate family) in certain circumstances. For example, we may disclose nonpublic personal information (as described above) about you to such third parties to assist us in servicing your loan or account with us and to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with which we have joint marketing agreements. When we disclose information to these types of third parties, it will be under an agreement requiring them to protect your nonpublic personal information and prohibiting the use of the information beyond the performance of specified services on our behalf.

We may also disclose information to government entities and to credit reporting agencies. These disclosures are made for specific purposes such as in response to subpoenas, to verify information for credit approval, or to make certain information a matter of public record such as recording a mortgage.

We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about you to any other third parties, except as permitted by law or as authorized by you. If you decide to close your account(s) or become an inactive customer, we will continue to adhere to the privacy policies and practices described in this notice.

Our Security Procedures

We also take steps to safeguard customer information. We restrict access to your personal and account information to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information. We have implemented procedures to help assure that our customer’s financial information is accurate, current and complete in accordance with commercially reasonable standards. You should notify the respective Security National Corporation member bank if you receive information regarding your relationship with us that you believe to be inaccurate.
